Today my teams main goal was to move a lot of dirt. We began pick-axing the western side after we started moving the dirt away we discovered another skeleton adjacent to the pre-existing one. We are presuming that the skeleton we have just discovered considering its bones being much smaller than the original that it is the child of the pre-existing skeleton. We have not concluded whether the pre-existing skeleton is male or female. Unfortunately during the dirt removal a finger was severed from the new skeleton we found one of them through careful sifting but have yet to find the other.

Today we continued to move dirt out of the square. We were much more efficient than the first day. We first had a high on the northern side of the square. My team worked pretty well. Unfortunately there were no significant finds.

Today we took off the tarps that was protecting the square while were were on break. Mr. Thames the teacher also taught the new students the fundamentals of a dig site. At one point we had to get seven people around a tarp that was covering a sqaure, it was filled with lots of water, and we dumped it out over the edge.
